T-SEC has three main types of partners: Academic; Manufacturing; Economic Development.

Academic sites

T-SEC encourages advanced manufacturing-based businesses to get to know and partner with area community colleges.  In order to do so, T-SEC locates sophisticated equipment such as 3D Printers on campuses providing industry with access and students with training. Ideally, businesses use the equipment and become acquainted with students training on the equipment, thus forming a relationship. Scroll down to view a list of equipment available at Academic sites.

T-SEC exists to promote manufacturing jobs in New York. To facilitate opportunities, T-SEC funds equipment at manufacturing partner campuses. Equipment is used in manufacturing. On a few campuses public training courses and peer-to-peer manufacturing courses are held on the equipment. Scroll down to view a list of equipment available at partner manufacturing sites.

The Accelerator: An economic development agency of the Orange County IDA

One of T-SEC’s key partners is the Orange County Accelerator. T-SEC funds equipment like the TukaTech patternmaker for clothing and fashion manufacturing startups and entreprenuers. Scroll down to see a list of equipment located at Accelerator campuses.
